      Hello there!

I’ve never worked with QucsStudio before as I had tu use LTspice in the past – discovering QucsStudio a few days ago I was wondering why this tool is not teached more often as it has a way better UI and more intuitive functions.

Nevertheless, I have trouble in simulating a H-bridge which should drive a coil. My intention is to simulate a alternating input from low –> high –> low –> high –> …

At the moment I only receive some wild values which do not seem correct to me. Also it would be great to display the current ‘I_coil’ over the time, not over the value of the digital source as this might not seem like an intuitive diagram.

Could anyone help me in this topic?

      Thanks in advance!

      Best,

        Hi !

You could use transient simulation to see what happens over time and use rectangle voltage sources to control the circuit.

That looks like the thing I wanted to do! Thanks a lot!

I thought that the digital source that I am using in my schematic will do exactly what you did. But this seems like not being true. At least for my intention. Thankls a lot! I’ll give it a try 🙂
