I’ve noticed that QucsStudio crashes when attempting to post-process a sweeped transient analysis with time2freq. The simulation runs through fine, then the simulation dialog stays open, the program freezes for a few seconds, and closes without further notice. I’m attaching a test case that reproduces the behavior.

Just directly plotting the time-domain result works fine, also removing the sweep resolves the issue. So it seems to be the combined use of a sweep and tim2freq that causes the crash.

I’m using QucsStudio 4.2.2 on Windows 10 (version 20H2, build 19042.1110), but I’ve noticed the bug already in QucsStudio 3.3.2.

Would be fantastic if this could be addressed in a future release, thanks very much!

Many thanks for the excellent bug report! It’s nice to see that there are still people who know how to do this.   🙂

The bug will be fixed in the next version.
