I am simulating a narrow band filter/matching network using Usimmics 5.8. As I  am interested in the port impedances I am using ac power sources and S parameter simulation. This is for a transmitter application so I am also interested in the loaded Q and voltages etc. The Qucs Studio documentation implies that node ac voltages can be accessed from equations in this situation, presumably for the power level stated in the port definition. I can’t seem to make this work. Is this not supported now, or is there another way to do this?

      Thanks

        Hi Mike,

Voltage/current probes only provide a measurement if an AC simulation block is present. To achieve this, you need to deactivate the S parameter simulation block. The original Qucs could have both simulation blocks activated. Perhaps that’s why it’s in the documentation.
