Hello!
uSimmics v5.8
I’m trying to apply some functions: w2dbm(Fmin), StabFactor(S) from https://dualplus.ibdrigo.de/hf_18/amp_development.pdf.
But I get error like: “Unkown function”.
Where can I find list of supported functions?
By some reasons my help window doesn’t work from main menu in Windows 11.
Thank you!

the mathematical functions can be found under (free translation from German):
Help -> Help-Index ->

-> Short Description -> mathematical Functions

Daniel.28. April 2025 at 9:41 #8972Thank you for reply, Daniel!
But by some reason, my Help window doesn’t work in Win 11. Very strange.
Could you please give me another source of information about math functions?
Thank you!
Sergej.
28. April 2025 at 10:02 #8973It is strange, but my help doesn’t work as in uSimmics, but also and in 4.3.1 version.
I also tried to run help window separately from folder, not from menu of main program’s window, and it doesn’t work too.

28. April 2025 at 11:29 #8975Hi Sergej,
unfortuenatly I’m not able to open the help file from the uSimmics installed directory directly.
As I’m not involved in the application development, its hard for me to give you a profound advice.
As you have the same problem with QucsStudio 4.3.1 the only guess I have is that it is user folder related.
In the start.bat file it is documented how you can specify another user folder.
Without warranty: Maybe you delete the .qucs folder in your homepath? For details see also the start.bat.
Good luck!
Daniel.

When I pressed “Help” button from main menu of uSimmics or previous version, the additional icon of “Help” window is opened in bottom Windows taskbar, but when I click it – no any windows opened. Very strange behaviour. Also Help can’t be opened from the folder separately.
At same time old version QUCS 0.0.19 help works normally.
Thank you!
Will wait for support.

28. April 2025 at 13:14 #8977Hi Sergej,
I had a similiar issue with uSimmics Pi-attenuator tool in the past. My issue was that the window was not visible with a dual monitor setup.
Switching one monitor off, using only one, brought the Pi-attenuator tool back again.
After that I could again switch on the second monitor.
Maybe this would fix your problem too?
BR! Daniel.
