      Good day.

I need to assign the power port for wideband impedance matching to a S parameter file.

Furthermore, it would be helpful to assign the power port series Z to any complex Z as a

table of Z versus frequency. In general, for a 2 port network, a complex to complex match

network would be designed to maximize power between the ports. Thanks, alan

You want to export the resulting s-parameters to a touchstone file?

Thank you for the reply. No… I have the touchstone file. It is a one port S1P file. I would like to assign that file to the power port source, replacing its complex Z with that of the reflection data of the S1P file. Apparently this request has been asked before and it is most likely in consideration. No issue, there are other methods for handling the real to complex match over a given bandwidth with multiple matching elements in place.

While on that topic, I have yet to find the setup for optimization of a matching network over a frequency range, say 1 to 2 GHz, for a REAL to COMPLEX match. No desire to use AUTOMATCH provided by the program.  Say a 4 element match and setting up the OPTIMIZATION directive. Are there any examples of this arrangement? Thanks.
