Octave: adding additional packages

Hello,
I do like the slick look of the new forum and web page!

I hope this it the right place for this question, but I would like to understand how to install a package (I need the physical constants package) for Octave. Is it simply to create a “packages” subdirectory below the Octave directory for QucsStudio? Or otherwise, what is the best method?
