      Hi,

      I have two questions on the Transmission Line Calculator (version 4.3.1).

      1. for the predefined topologies, can I find back somewhere which formulas are used? I looked in the help of both QucsStudio and the calculator, as well as in the Technical Documentation, but I didn’t find it.

      2. I tried to use the BEM tool to calculate a differential stripline without any ground. Please see below for the inputs. I systematically get the error message “Signal conductor too close to boundary. Result may be inaccurate. (0.380283)”. Changing the meshing, the distances, or changing negSignal to ground does not solve the problem. What am I doing wrong?

      Thanks in advance for any hints.

      @w = 0.5 % width of metal strip

      @s = 0.2 % spacing between signal lines

      @h = 1.2 % height of substrate

      @t = 0.02 % thick of metal strip

      @b = 8 % distance to simulation boundary

      %mesh 20 0.001
