When I had access to AWR/MWO one of the very useful functions was a running a script to merge several s2p-files (typically from measurements with two-port VNA)into s3p, s4p-files. Probably it was possible to merge several files into sNp-files but I dont remember all possibilies.
That function would be a very nice “Tool” to have.
I think it would be good enough to restrict it to 3 and 4 port cases. (Baluns, 90 deg hybrids, power splitters)
The user could select from which file the redundant positions in the matrix are filled.
Maybe it could be implemented by running a simulation in a schematic with 3x s2p-files, 3 ports and some “component” to acchieve the wanted result.
(3 x s2p-files => s3p-file and 4 x s2p-files => s4p-file )
or is there a way to do this already ?
this can of course be done in manually in excel or in other ways but all more or less messy !
