I have. All ok here so far.>> open it again. Add. enter name ‘b’. enter value ‘2’. Apply.
>So you change ‘y’ to ‘b’ and ‘1’ to ‘2’ and then press “Apply” and not “ok”?
No. Add creates a new line. Add name ‘b’ and value ‘2’ in the empty line.> > name is now automatically change to ‘a’ , which it should not.
> You mean you are still in the dialog and the ‘b’ in the line-edit field is changed to ‘a’?
yes. As soon as I hit apply.I just confirmed it unter Win10.

when I select the table with a click, it would also be nice to scroll it with Arrow up/down and Page up/down.
I Agree
Hi, drahnoel,
> A range is applied to the data and to the dependent variable…..
you probably mean _in_dependent variable, right?>get_dependent(variable, “name”)
>Get the dependent of data with given name. Is usually equivalent to using name directly, unless a range was applied.I don’t understand this. Could you elaborate please?
Cheers
Carsten@Michael: Vlt. ließen sich solche Fälle automatisch erkennen und Qucs könnte eine Warnung ausgeben?
Hi Michael,
the same problem with the Min() function appears in the optimization sim.
I want to minimize a goal that is complex. QS finds the value with the most negative Re(goal_variable).
Probably based on the same source code piece

you can define a parameter in an equation and use the Tuning-Tool on that.
in the forum post
Simulation of S-Parameter-Matrix with complex Port Impedances
(cannot post links here)it is mentioned, that complex port impedances are not supported.
anyway, if you add a ‘*’ in the impedance definition (e.g. 15+15j changed to 15+15*j), you get the -1,1547 dB.

btw: I would have used the formula to the right. That gives -1,23 dB. Don’t know, which is the right answer

Oh, maybe this is related to this bug report from one week ago?

ignore my last 2 posts.
Thanks to you, I found out that it is possible to drag ‘n’ drop the marker directly.
In my installation, it works fine.
remember: In qucs, selection of overlayed items (e.g. a diagram and a “marker info callout”) works as follow:
A) none of the items is selected yet: mouse click selects top most item
B) one of the items is already selected: mouse click selects next item. What happens to me regularly:
– diagram is selected
– I want to move the “marker info callout” and try to drag’n’ drop it somewhere (but forgot, that the diagram is still selected).
-> diagram is moved instead of marker box. Thanks for sharing
similar things happen in CST, when S-Params from an 3DEM-Simulation need to be interpolated. In that case it helps to change s-param interpolation from polar to cartesian domain.
Qucs offers similar options in touchstone file component. maybe that helps?
